Courtney Swain is a singer, pianist, and composer, currently based in Providence RI. A Berklee College of Music alum and a native of Japan, her diverse influences and interests have spawned two eclectic solo albums. Both albums were written and recorded as part of the RPM Challenge; a unique opportunity that encourages musicians to create with abandon. The New England Noise wrote of her music as "a gorgeous blend of overwhelming vocal talent, modern keyboard techniques, and contemporary sophistication."  In addition to her solo work, Courtney is also the lead-singer of Bent Knee, one of Boston's frontrunner art-rock bands. When not touring or performing, she enjoys collaborating with local artists, and teaches music and songwriting. She also enjoys cooking and yoga at home.
